Description
A vibrant hibiscus flower with purple and red petals is elegantly presented in a green glass vase against a dark background. The detailed, delicate petals are illuminated to highlight their rich colors and intricate veining. The photographic technique used to capture this large blossom is called "focus stacking". It involves taking multiple images (on a tripod) of exactly the same view, but at differant focal points around the flower. Then all the images are stacked, keeping only the portion of each one that is in perfect fucus. Thus, the result is perfect focus throughout the entire flower. It makes a fun project! This is a variety of Cajun hibiscus which produce spectacular colors and combinations, as well as huge blooms.
