Description
A majestic heron stands gracefully in shallow water, surrounded by an impressionistic backdrop of branches and textured ground. The bird's long neck and slender legs are prominent, capturing an air of quiet elegance. This beautiful heron was hunting in the lovely shallows near Long Key, Florida. I approached him by boat and then hopped out to photograph him. He was very unbothered by my presence, but he was definately venturing deeper into the mangrove marsh to find his meal. This is the second image of this heron here. I created the two images to hang as a pair. They are beautiful printed on wood.
